Dan Meier, P. Eng. 

VP / General Manager 

Dan founded CanMine in 2014 and is a 30+ year mining engineer with a solid engineering and mine operations background.  He has a proven history of successfully completing large projects and a breadth of knowledge about mine site capital projects, underground mining methods, underground construction, and ground control methods.  He holds a B.A.Sc. in Mining Engineering from UBC. 


Marc Mains

Contracts Manager 

Marc has served as CanMine’s Contracts Manager since 2017, bringing with him 10 years of experience in operations and head office roles.  In addition to overseeing the management of commercial aspects of projects and strategic partnerships, Marc plays an active role in CanMine’s corporate development. He Holds an MBA and a B.A.Sc. in Mining Engineering from UBC.  


Fraser Krayenhoff, P. Eng. 

Project Manager 

Fraser has been with CanMine since 2017, bringing with him over 10 years of experience on a wide variety of underground projects.  He is skilled in project management, driving production, quality and safety, while pursuing diligent documentation and advanced project tracking methodologies.  Fraser holds a B.A.Sc. in Mining Engineering from UBC. 


Michael Mah 


Michael joined CanMine as an estimator in 2020, bringing with him 12 years of experience in estimating and project management.  He has worked on complex mining and industrial projects located all over Canada.  With his diverse background & knowledge, Michael has an understanding of the practicality needed to deliver projects that exceed our clients expectations.  He is responsible for the development of project budgets and tender submittals.  Michael holds a diploma in Mining Technology from BCIT, and holds a PMP designation from the Project Management Institute.


Andrea Suter 

Buyer & Logistics  

Andrea has been with CanMine since 2017 and brings with her over 6 years of experience in supply chain with a background in logistics, sales, administration, and warehousing.  She is responsible for coordinating procurement and transportation of equipment, supplies and employees to CanMine’s most remote and challenging jobsites.
